FJORK Merino: Australian merino wool, crafted in Switzerland

FJORK Merino is a Swiss brand founded in 2018 by a former member of the national alpine skiing team and a Vaud hockey player. Passionate about sport and the mountains, they designed a range of clothing combining technology, comfort, and performance, inspired by nature.

Our merino wool comes from Australian farmers. The supply chain is certified to the Responsible Wool Standard, audited by an independent third-party organization, and the non-mulesed (NM) status is certified by the Australian Wool Testing Authority. Our socks are knitted in Italy; the rest of the manufacturing takes place in China.

A name inspired by the bears of Bern

The name FJORK is a combination of BJORK and FINN, an iconic pair of brown bears from Bern. The bear, a symbol of strength and adaptability, perfectly embodies the spirit of our products: providing optimal thermal protection, whatever the conditions.
